Para Educator I - Library Media Assistant (Beresford Elementary)
San Mateo‑Foster City School District – Part‑time, 4.0 hrs/day, 8:00 am‑12:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Job Summary:
Assist students and staff in the library/media center, perform specialized library media and computer operations, maintain records, and handle related tasks under general supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Assist students in using the library/media center.
- Perform library media and computer operations.
- Maintain records and handle related duties as needed.
- Work under a general supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or higher (an associate’s degree may waive testing).
- Proof of high school graduation.
- Resume.
- Reading, math, and writing test (required).
- Ability to work part‑time 4 hrs/day, five days a week.
Benefits:
Pay Range: $22.68–$28.94 per hour; 10 paid sick days; 14 paid holidays; district contribution toward medical/dental; work year: 10 months.
