A substitute teacher is responsible for providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. The substitute teacher must be able to follow lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment for students. The substitute teacher must also be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
Responsibilities:
-Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher
-Manage the classroom environment and promote student learning
-Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
-Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher on student progress and behavior
-Adhere to school policies and procedures
Requirements:
-60 College Credits
-Background Check Completed
-Fingerprinting
-Protecting God's Children Course
-Application Filled Out
-Interview with Principal
