Up to 40 hours per week

• Previous work experience with at‑risk middle level agedschool children.
• Ability to work with at‑risk students and their families.
• Knowledge of community and county agencies and services available to individuals and families.
• Experience as a child counselor, psychologist, behavioral specialist preferred.
• Demonstrate mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of the position.
• Ability to work with school and county agency professionals.
• Ability to facilitate meetings with parents, students, teachers, counselors, and agency professionals.
• Ability to assist students and parents in the pursuit of success.
• Be open to continuous change.
• Knowledge of school policy and procedures governing academics, attendance, and behavior.
• Ability to facilitate student group sessions.
• Be an excellent communicator with students, parents, and staff.

• Establish and facilitate team meetings for each Success Program Student as necessary.
• Monitor and document progress of Success Students and meet with students on a weekly basis.
• Communicate Success Student progress to the home and appropriate school personnel via letters, emails, and telephone calls.
• Use data tracking system to monitor behavior, achievement, and attendance each week.
• Make home visits as necessary.
• Assist families with agency involvement as necessary.
• Prepare, submit and attend court for truancy cases.
• Oversee student lunch periods & supervise lunch monitors.
• Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.
• The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.
• Other duties as assigned.

$20.55 - $22.69 per hour, commensurate with experience
