Elementary Student Support Professional

Are you passionate about supporting young learners as they begin their school journey? Swartz Creek is looking for caring, motivated individuals to join our team! Help shape a strong foundation for students in a nurturing and engaging environment.

Monday - Friday (hours TBD)

• Assist the lead teacher with classroom preparation and organization.
• Support individual and small group learning activities.
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up learning materials and classroom supplies.
• Monitor student safety and well-being throughout the school day.
• Record observations on student progress and report to the teacher.
• Encourage social skills and cooperation among students.
• Support students with self-care routines and independence skills.
• Assist in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
• Communicate respectfully with students, teachers, and parents as needed.
• Participate in professional development and team meetings.
