High School Girls Assistant Track Coach

• Must have a background in the area of Track & Field
• Must have basic knowledge of fundamentals in all field events and running
• Must be willing to work closely with HS coaches in implementing the teaching of fundamentals as prescribed by the varsity track program
• Must work with coaches in conducting home track meets, including middle school events
• Assist in the design of a daily and weekly practice schedule with specific goals for team and individual development
• Skills in the organization and execution of a practice plan
• Expected to participate in the athletic department’s fundraising efforts
• Effectively communicate with players, parents, and administration
• Must model appropriate behavior, promoting at all times the social, emotional, and moral well-being of CPS student-athletes
• Must have First Aid and CPR certification on file prior to the start of the 2027 season
• Coach must adhere to Athletic Code for Coaches, as stated in the MHSAA Handbook
• Two years track coaching experience preferred
• Background in athletics preferred
• Pass background check
