Charlevoix Public Schools is seeking qualified candidates for an elementary special education teaching position in our preschool and kindergarten programs. An ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, collaborative, and have a passion for working with students with disabilities.

Performance Responsibilities- A strong background in teaching or other related fields of instruction.
- Knowledge of research-based instructional and special education practices in early childhood.
- Working knowledge of the Special Education Laws and Procedures.
- Demonstration of effective classroom management techniques with high levels of student engagement.
- The ability to work in a team environment towards the individual classroom, building, and district goals.
- Exhibits strong organizational skills and has the ability to communicate effectively with various populations.
Michigan special education teacher certification(s) with early childhood endorsement or willingness to pursue it.
