Job DescriptionReports to: Band Director
Terms of Employment: The Cedar Springs High School Marching Band has an immediate opening for a Band Camp Drumline Assistant for the week of band camp, August 3-7, 2026. Must be a current employee of Edu Staff or willing to become an employee of Edu Staff.
Employment will begin August 3, pending completion of Edu Staff registration and all required paperwork.
Responsibilities- Attendance at band camp
- Assist with show design
- Instruction of basic and applied percussion technique and marching
- Creating a positive, while challenging and competitive environment for students to achieve excellence
- Complete all paperwork in a timely fashion
- Extensive experience in the performing arts
- Previous successful drumline instruction at the high school level
- Extensive knowledge of marching percussion technique, design and instruction
- Ability to establish working relationships with co-workers and function as part of a cohesive team
- Able to have effective and positive communication with students, staff members and directors
- Responsible, professional, embodies high ethical standards and integrity
Pay will be $13.73 per hour.
