PurposeCollaborate with the John Deere Training Organization to deliver top-notch certified courses at Tri County Equipment locations. Your mission: empower our team and customers with valuable skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed.
What You’ll Do- Get Certified:
Achieve John Deere certification to lead training courses with authority and expertise. - Coordinate Logistics:
Handle all on-site training details, including equipment setup, materials preparation, and classroom arrangements. - Deliver Dynamic Training:
Use John Deere-approved Leader Guides to conduct engaging, high-quality sessions that inspire and educate. - Ensure Excellence:
Maintain instructional quality, content, safety, and infrastructure to John Deere’s gold standard. - Track and Report:
Share training results, attendance records, and outcomes with the John Deere training team. - Restore & Reset:
Leave learning spaces clean and ready for the next session. - Monitor Participation:
Ensure students stay engaged and complete their training. - Stay Ahead:
Continuously learn about new products and technology, tailoring material to meet audience needs. - Coordinate In-House Training:
Plan and schedule all training sessions at Tri County Equipment. - Participate in Development:
Grow your own skills by engaging in Service EDUCATE training programs. - Maintain Equipment:
Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment for training purposes. - Safety First:
Always follow and enforce safety regulations in every aspect of your work. - Keep Current:
Stay informed about John Deere and competitive products to provide top-tier training.
- Experience:
3+ years of service or repair experience, with a proven track record of meeting performance goals (preferred). - Technical
Skills:
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in off-road, construction, or heavy equipment. - Practical Knowledge:
Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for hands-on training. - Tech-Savvy:
Basic computer skills; familiarity with Service ADVISOR™ or similar diagnostic tools is a bonus. - Team Player:
Thrive in a collaborative work environment. - Communication Pro:
Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills. - Education:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; an associate’s degree is preferred. - Licenses: A valid driver’s license is required (CDL preferred).
