Key

Qualifications:

• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
• State certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with populations from early childhood through young adulthood (birth-26 preferred)
• Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
• Familiarity with IEP processes and multidisciplinary evaluation teams
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Willingness to travel within a rural district

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for students across a range of ages and abilities
• Interpret evaluation results and participate in eligibility and placement decisions
• Develop interventions and strategies to support students' academic, emotional, and behavioral development
• Consult with educators, families, and related service providers to create supportive learning environments
• Provide direct and indirect services according to students' IEPs and needs
• Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and program development as needed
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
