Position summaryTenure‑track faculty position in mathematics with teaching, scholarship, and service responsibilities beginning in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. The faculty in the Department of Mathematics & Physics place high value on collegiality and teamwork as they work for the best interests of the students. Qualificationssummary
- Earned doctoral degree in mathematics or statistics.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness.
- Active research agenda.
- Dedicated to student academic and spiritual growth.
- Ability to work collegially in a diverse community.
- Must be a Seventh‑day Adventist in good and regular standing.

- Teaching Philosophy (1‑2 pages) and evidence of teaching effectiveness
- Research agenda (1‑2 pages) including how you may include undergraduates
- Carry regular faculty responsibilities related to teaching, scholarship, and service.
- Teach a broad range of undergraduate mathematics courses, including general education courses and upper‑level courses for math majors.
- Mentor students, supporting them academically and spiritually.
- Advise math majors.
- Maintain an active research agenda and engage undergraduate students in research.
- Contribute to the university dialogue in faculty meetings and on committees.
- Supervise graders and/or teaching assistants for courses.

Ability to work collegially and professionally with students, staff, faculty, and administrators from a rich diversity of international, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
