• GSRP Responsibilities
  • Administer and develop budget recommendations
  • Attend GSRP Supervisor Meetings
  • Follow GSRP Reporting Guidelines
  • Knowledge of preschool and familiarity with play-based learning.
• Daycare Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daycare Staff and Hire Daycare staff
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, clean, and inviting environment for children, families, and staff.
  • Schedule all programming.
  • Assist the principal with hiring and staffing.
  • Bill families and maintain all billing records.
  • Set a budget and rates to ensure the daycare is a budget-neutral operation.
  • Maintain the district childcare license with the State of Michigan.
  • Work with families on available state assistance programs.
  • Maintain schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Run summer wrap-around programs.
• General Responsibilities
  • Understand technology, including Google Docs, MS Office, Power School, and other billing and daycare software.
  • Follow policies regarding confidentiality and mandated reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Education:
  
  Prefer AA or Certification in education or related field.
• Prefer previous daycare or preschool experience.
• Ability to communicate with families and parents.
• Bright enthusiasm and a passion for inspiring young learners.
• Strong communication skills to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A desire to grow as an educator and make a difference in a supportive community.
• Experience in elementary and/or middle school (K-8) levels
• K-2, GSRP, and Daycare Experience Strongly Preferred
• Understanding of Technology
