Location: Jr./Sr. High School (Grades 6-12)

Summary: This person will work under the direct supervision of certified staff to maintain a safe and healthy educational environment; assist and support students with personal care activities and appropriate social behaviors; reinforce selected student educational and therapy activities. The ideal candidate will provide literacy support to students in grades 6-12.

Assist staff and students with personal care activities, appropriate social behaviors, and selected educational and therapy activities; provide literacy support to students in grades 6-12.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred background/experience in education or special education
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Willingness to work with students with disabilities

• Part-time, average 35 hours per week, during the school year only

• Cover letter including interest and review of experience appropriate to position
• Current credentials including letters of recommendation
• Resume and/or other information relevant to past experiences highlighting skills necessary for success in the position

• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
