• One of the following:
• Have at least 60 credits at an accredited institution of higher education
• Have an associate degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Passage of College Board's SAT (min. 480 Reading & 530 Math)
• Passage of the ETS Parapro Assessment (required 460)
• Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing and mathematics
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to collaborate with others
• Strong sense of empathy
• Drive to help students succeed.

• Push into classrooms to support math and reading goals identified by teachers.
• Under the direction of a teacher, administer specific skill practice for students to support math (i.e. Bridges) and reading (i.e. phonic and phonemic awareness) growth.
• Under the direction of a teacher, provide small group math and reading support.
• Under the direction of a teacher, work one-on-one with a student to support math and reading growth.
• Under the supervision of a teacher, record math (i.e. Bridges tier II) and reading (i.e sight words and letters) progress.
• Maintain a conferring notebook
