The Learning Experience – Canton is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher to support children in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, confidence, and social-emotional development. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy creating engaging classroom experiences where children build independence, communication skills, and strong early academic foundations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities
• Implement developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage early literacy and math readiness
• Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Guide children through learning centers, transitions, and group activities
• Encourage positive classroom participation and social interaction
• Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom updates and developmental progress
• Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies

Qualifications:

• Prior childcare experience required
• CDA preferred but not required
• Preschool classroom experience preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
