We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our educational team at Webberville Middle & High School as a Special Education Teacher for the secondary level. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students. This full-time position requires a collaborative approach to teaching, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of special education practices and regulations.

• Michigan teaching certificate with the appropriate special education certification or working towards the appropriate certification
• Knowledge of theory, research methods, and best practices in special education and general education instruction.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members and administrators.
• Ability to communicate effectively and relate positively with students, parents, and administration.
• Knowledge of age appropriate curriculum, application of appropriate assessment, and knowledge of effective use of age appropriate, research based instructional strategies for secondary students.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Digital literacy skills.
