• Associate's Degree in a related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience working with students, preferably students with disabilities.

• As directed by the teacher, provide instruction in early academics, K-12 academics, vocational and employment, self-care, life skills, and social-emotional learning.
• Assist in preparation and organization of instructional materials.
• Implement behavior support plans for students with significant behavior challenges, which may result in the student displaying physically aggressive behaviors towards self or others.
• Assist students in meeting their immediate self-care needs related to feeding, toileting, and hygiene.
• Implement strategies to support students with severe language impairments, including modeling the use of assistive technology.
• Demonstrate the ability to keep all information regarding a student and their family confidential.
