1st Grade Teacher

First Grade Elementary Teacher
- full time. Responsible for teaching content in a self-contained classroom.

• Support the Catholic mission of the school and live in accordance with Church teachings;
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and integrate faith into instruction;
• Plan effective lessons aligned with curriculum goals;
• Maintain an organized, well-managed, and virtue-based classroom;
• Assess students learning regularly and accurately;
• Collaborate positively with administration, colleagues, and parents;
• Uphold confidentiality and display professional judgment in all conduct.

Applicants should have a valid State of Michigan teaching certificate for elementary K-5 self-contained. Applicants must be able to provide an extensive background check and VIRTUS training, completed prior to hiring.
