Beagle Middle School is seeking a passionate and dedicated 8th Grade Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster a love for science in students while delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons aligned with state standards. This full-time position requires a commitment to creating a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration among students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and engage students in scientific inquiry.
• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with varying abilities and learning styles.
• Integrate technology and hands-on experiments into lessons to enhance student understanding and interest in science.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and participate in professional development activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student performance and classroom activities.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and committees as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a related field;
  Master's degree preferred.
• Valid teaching certification in Science for middle school level.
• Proven experience teaching middle school science or a similar educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and the ability to convey them in an engaging manner.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
