- Must be qualified and certified to teach in the State of Michigan and possess the necessary educational background and certification for the position as determined by the District.
- Possess a CB, CC, CQ, CX or RX endorsement.
- Be willing and able to deliver effective classroom instruction that results in student learning and growth.
- Have a strong desire to work with high school aged students and their parents.
- Be willing to participate in a variety of extra‑curricular and co‑curricular activities including staff development, curriculum development and clubs.
- Be willing to work as part of a building team for the improvement of instruction and to produce successful learners.
- Be open to continuous change.
- Be an excellent communicator with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrate mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of the position.
The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non‑prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District and is expected to maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance. Employees will perform related duties as assigned.
