Minimum Qualifications- A valid Michigan Teacher's Certificate.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- A valid State of Michigan (DI, or DX) endorsement.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and provide individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student.
- Use a variety of instruction strategies, such as inquiry, group discussion, lecture, discovery, etc.
- Translate lesson plans into learning experiences so as to best utilize the available time for instruction.
- Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere.
- Evaluate students' academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare progress reports.
- Communicate with parents through conferences and other means to discuss students' progress.
- Maintain current student data including all relevant measures of academic progress.
- Reference checks
- Police clearance including digital fingerprinting.
Salary and exceptional fringe benefits based upon BEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
