Requirements:

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Physical Education endorsement or ability to obtain
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification or willingness to obtain

Preferences:

• Knowledge of Michigan Academic Standards for Health and Physical Education.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage student behavior and create a positive learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to integrate instructional technology into teaching and assessment.
• Experience teaching Middle School students
• Bachelors degree or higher in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or related field
• Knowledge of child and adolescent development
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student success
