Instructional Aide with Lunch Supervision/Recess Aide Duties
The chosen candidate will be an Edu Staff employee at North Sashabaw Elementary. Essential duties and responsibilities include providing individual or small group student support, supervising students during recess, supervising students at lunchtime and maintaining a harmonious atmosphere by encouraging peaceful resolution of conflicts, directing movement of groups to and from the cafeteria in a safe and organized manner, assisting students in lunch room clean-up, and supervising rest rooms and hallways.
Some reading/writing and language college classes preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to staff and students are required. Willingness to learn developmentally appropriate educational practices is also necessary. Ability to walk long distances and ability to sit or stand for long periods of time are required. Reports to Building Principal. Start date August, 2026. Salary/
Schedule:
Instructional Aide - $17 per hour (2 hours/day) Step 1 on pay scale Lunch / Recess - $18.00 per hour (up to 2 hours) Monday - Friday.
