The Manistee Intermediate School District is seeking a School Psychologist Apprentice to join our team. This position is designed for an individual currently pursuing a degree in school psychology who is looking to gain meaningful, hands‑on experience in a supportive educational environment.

Position SummaryThe School Psychologist Apprentice will work under the supervision of a certified School Psychologist to support a variety of services for students and school teams, and may substitute in MISD classroom programs as needed. This role provides valuable practical experience in consultation, assessment, and collaboration within school settings while the candidate continues their graduate coursework.
Responsibilities- Assist School Psychologists with student observations and data collection
- Support the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process
- Participate in team meetings and consultations with staff
- Assist with behavioral and academic data review
- Observe and support components of the psycho educational evaluation process
- Perform other related duties as assigned under supervision
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program in School Psychology
- Demonstrated interest in working with students in educational settings
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Strong communication and organizational skills
