CTE - Construction Trades Instructor

Industrial Arts Cte Construction Trades / Woodshop Instructor

The district is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as an Industrial Arts CTE Construction Trades / Woodshop instructor.

Qualifications:

• Valid CTE Michigan teaching certificate which allows the holder to instruct courses under CIP code 46.0000 and CIP 48.0701 OR
• 4000 industry related hours in Woodshop and/or Woodworking and be willing to enroll in, and complete, a CTE program of work leading to endorsement.
• Additional Endorsement preferred:
  Valid Michigan teaching certificate with an Industrial Technology (IX) or (TE) endorsement
• Successful prior experience utilizing technology to deliver engaging instruction.
• Successful experience working with/instructing secondary students preferred.
• Applicants must possess strong interpersonal skills and a strong desire to promote student success.
