Instructor (Grant-funded) Sparks/Ignite

Clare Primary School, Clare Middle School, and Beaverton Elementary School.
Reports to:
Sparks Site Coordinator. Work days:
After school, 2.75 hours per day (positions available are 2-days/week and 4-days/week). Wages: $32.60 per hour. Starting date:
As soon as possible, with pre-service orientation prior to start.
Job objective:
The after school instructor will generally work with sessions of 15 students or less and will plan and deliver engaging, hands-on academic enrichment activities that align with school-day learning and support student achievement. Site leaders will assist the after school instructor in creating appropriate program session activities and projects based on student interest and program goals.
Qualifications:
Valid teaching certificate required. Experience working with students in corresponding grade levels. Experience in differentiating instruction and leading project-based academic activities. Positive classroom management. As a condition of employment employee must pass a criminal background check.
