Our district educates approximately 10,500 students (representing 50 languages) in preschool through eighth grades in 22 outstanding schools.
Our family of schools includes three middle schools (Grades 6–8), fifteen elementary schools (TK/K–5), three schools with all grades (K–8), and one Early Education Center. We also have preschools co-located at our six elementary sites. We have various theme based schools:
Montessori, Immersion (Spanish and Mandarin), and STEM. ACHIEVEMENT GOAL:

The San Mateo-Foster City School District is accepting applications for Substitute Para educator I Student Supervision Aides. Various sites. This is an on-call position to provide coverage when a Para educator I SSA is absent, or when additional coverage is needed. Hours and days vary. Work with a great district!
Requirements / Qualifications- CPR and First Aid required
* Application must be submitted along with a copy of your High School diploma. If you have an AA degree or higher, please submit that with the application (district testing may be waived). - Para educator I Student Supervision Aide test required, unless waived based on prior education and/or experience.
