The Department of Spanish at Hillsdale College seeks applicants for one open-rank tenure-track position to commence August 2027. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in hand by the time of the appointment. Applicants from any field of Iberian or Latin American literature, culture or linguistics are welcome to apply, but special attention will be given to candidates with interest and experience in the teaching of advanced grammar and writing.
All candidates must demonstrate excellence in teaching language and literature at all undergraduate levels, native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and English, evidence of scholarly potential, and an understanding of and commitment to the mission of Hillsdale College. All courses are taught in the target language.
