Lead Teacher

Kinder Care is seeking a Lead Teacher for Morrice Elementary to inspire and support young learners in a safe, engaging environment. In this role, you will design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons, foster social-emotional growth, and create an inclusive classroom where every child can thrive. You will assess student progress, collaborate with families and colleagues, and contribute to a positive school culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons for elementary-age students.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum and activities.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Support social-emotional learning and positive behavior strategies.
• Participate in professional development and training offered by Kinder
• Care.
• Ensure compliance with school, district, and state educational standards.
• Mentor assistant teachers or support staff within the classroom.
