Qualifications and
Experience:
- Active Michigan School Psychologist license required
- Previous professional experience in a K-12 school setting
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt to varying student needs and school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results to guide interventions
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families
- Consult with educators, parents, and support staff to address learning and behavioral challenges
- Participate in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) teams
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment promoting student engagement and achievement
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations
