SCHOOL OF EDUCATION (TLC) - Accreditation and Credential Coordinator Job Classification Position summary
The Assessment and Credential Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all school assessment and certification activities, including but not limited to, the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists Department of Education (NAD), APA, CACREP, NASP, CAEP, State Recognition, and Andrews University assessment reports. School of Education and International Studies (SEIS) accreditation activities include assisting office faculty with assessment plans, and aggregating data from multiple sources.
This position is also responsible for advising, monitoring, and reporting for undergraduate and graduate education candidates on certification, licensure, endorsement, and program completion requirements, including maintaining official records and monitoring candidate progress.

- Bachelor’s required. Master’s Degree and prior experience in the areas of assessment, accreditation, and certification strongly preferred.
- Advanced verbal and (graduate level) written English skills required.
- Detailed oriented with good analytical abilities
- Able to organize multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks
- Must work independently of supervision and adhere to deadlines without prompting
- Applicants must complete a writing sample prior to progressing past the interview stage
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

This position is also responsible for advising, monitoring, and reporting for undergraduate and graduate education candidates on certification, licensure, endorsement, and program completion requirements, including maintaining official records and monitoring candidate progress.
The role coordinates admissions to teacher education and SEIS graduate programs, supports formal recommendations for licensure and certification through the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists, the State of Michigan, and other jurisdictions, and manages communication and advising for partnership programs with Seventh-day Adventist unions and conferences.
- Write, collect necessary data, and complete all accreditation applications and renewals for programs in SEIS.
