The adjunct faculty for the Automotive Trades will teach courses that are within the Automotive Technology Associates of Applied Science and Certificate programs at SMC’s Dowagiac campus.
Required Qualifications- Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology or directly related field;
OR Automotive Certificate or certification equivalent such as ASE ;
OR Industry Experience in Automotive Technology
- Associate degree in Automotive Technology or higher
- Industry experience in Automotive Technology
- ASE Certification(s)
- Teaching experience
All applicants must demonstrate the ability to promote active and collaborative learning through a variety of teaching methods, as well as relate to students. Excellent organization and communication skills as well as the demonstrated use of instructional technology are required.
