Michigan Technological University is seeking a Tenure-track faculty position in Management at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor for our College of Business department, with an anticipated start date of Fall 2027. We seek candidates with demonstrated expertise in Strategy and Entrepreneurship and the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, International Management, and other related areas consistent with the needs of the College.

Applicants must have earned a doctoral degree in Management or a closely related discipline from an AACSB-accredited institution by the time of appointment. Candidates applying for the rank of Associate Professor must possess a record of scholarly achievement, including publications and other accomplishments in high-quality journals, that warrants appointment at the associate professor level.

• Develop and sustain a vigorous research program with national visibility.
• Contribute effectively to undergraduate and graduate teaching through a student-centric, experiential approach in both the on-campus and online modalities.
• Constructively and actively engage in service activities at the departmental, college, university, and professional levels.

• PhD in Management from an AACSB-accredited school

• Evidence of research activity leading to publication of scholarly work in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals appropriate to the field of study commensurate with rank.
• Evidence of the ability to independently teach management courses.

• PhD in Strategic Management/International Management/Entrepreneurship from an AACSB-accredited school.
• Documented publications in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals in management commensurate with the rank.
• Documented teaching experience in an institution of higher education with excellent teaching evaluations commensurate with the rank.
• Documented industry experience.
• Documented experience in securing research grants.
• Documented service contributions at the college, university, or national level.
• Evidence of serving as a committee member or chair of doctoral dissertations.

• Evidence of knowledge of the AACSB and its role in business colleges and schools
• Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching, program growth, and student success.
• Demonstrated strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
