Virtual Mentor - Pioneer High School

Croswell-Lexington Schools is seeking a Virtual Mentor who will report daily to Pioneer High School to supervise virtual students who work on campus and provide support, guidance, and encouragement to students participating in virtual or online learning. The mentor serves as a consistent school-based point of contact who helps students stay engaged, organized, and on track toward successful completion of their coursework.

Required Qualifications:

• Establish positive, supportive relationships with students participating in virtual learning.
• Monitor student attendance, participation, assignment completion, and academic progress.
• Encourage students to develop effective time-management, organizational, and study skills.
• Help students establish goals and develop strategies for successful completion of coursework.
• Assist students in navigating virtual learning platforms and school expectations.
• Promote positive attendance and encourage students to remain actively engaged in their education.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all district policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
