Notice is hereby given that the following position is available for the  school year in the Harper Creek Community School District, Battle Creek, Michigan.

CLASSIFICATION: Special Education Assistant (Category
3) 1:1 Para
- This position may support a student with health needs.

LOCATION/SUPERVISOR/CLASSIFICATION Beadle Lake Elementary
- Nneka Daniels

PAY RATE: Per Master Contract – Category 3, Step 1: $17.50/hour for new employees. Existing employees in the same unit will remain on their current contractual step placement.

May earn an additional .50 cents / hour premium with an Associate’s degree or higher education or passage of the MTTC (or equivalent) test in reading, writing, and math

HOURS OF WORK: 8:30am - 3:30pm on Student Attendance Days with a 30-minute paid lunch on-campus (approximate times)

STARTING DATE: Immediately
