The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services. About this position:
This is the experienced (master) level. The employee obtains permits, performs electrical work as required by law, and performs the full range of technical aspects of electrical work. The employee uses considerable independent judgment in making decisions without the availability of supervision. The employee works in concert with other Electricians and trades to perform a full range of electrical assignments for projects on state properties as required for maintenance, construction, and remodeling.
The employee uses a wide range of power tools and other equipment appropriate to the work. The employee provides customer service with courtesy, respect, and attention to detail, work cooperatively with staff, and assure all staff are customer service oriented, expressing a positive and helpful outcome to projects and during daily interaction with tenants. DART - This position is considered safety sensitive due to the nature of the work performed and will be DART (Drug and Alcohol Random Tested) designated.

This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $5,000. Up to $1,500 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.
