Experience: 5+ years preferred
This is a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer role in a metal fabrication environment where your ideas don’t sit in a slide deck — they get built, tested, and implemented on the shop floor. You’ll work closely with operations, quality, and leadership to solve real production problems tied to quality, cost, productivity, and delivery
.

What You’ll Be Doing- Identify and implement process and design improvements that increase quality, efficiency, and manufacturability
- Lead data‑driven problem solving using root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Complete ROI analysis for equipment, tooling, and process investments
- Develop and implement testing procedures for products and processes
- Participate in and support FMEAs and design‑for‑manufacturability efforts
- Establish and improve engineering and operational standards
- Support new equipment, tooling, and operation start‑ups
- Partner directly with operations, engineering, and quality teams — this is a highly collaborative role
- Provide technical guidance and hands‑on support on the shop floor as needed
- Metal fabrication shop with fiber lasers, forming operations, and welding
- Fixture and tooling design exposure (experience is a plus)
- Mix of continuous improvement and new projects
- Fast‑paced environment with changing priorities — no two days are the same
- Strong mechanical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and design practical solutions
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Effective communicator who can work with engineers, operators, and office staff
- Hands‑on, servant leadership mindset — we solve problems with people, not at them
- Self‑motivated and accountable from concept through implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in a Manufacturing / Process / Industrial Engineering role
- Experience using AutoCAD and/or Solid Works
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows‑based systems
- Fixture and tooling design experience
- Metal fabrication experience (lasers, forming, welding)
- You’ve led and implemented multiple process improvements with measurable impact
- You’re a trusted problem‑solver on the shop floor
- Engineering standards and processes are stronger because of your work
- Your ideas are being implemented — not stuck waiting for approval
