Forvia Hella is seeking its next great Resident Engineer to join our team. The primary function of this role will be to collaborate with our OEM partner on any issues that may arise during current production. Individuals that are passionate about production best practices, problem solving, and communication will thrive in this role.

- Work with our OEM partner to communicate and ensure supplier component validation is meeting both technical and lamp requirements
- Support change management functions in the parts release databases
- Support product development and validation proving grounds, pre-production locations, design benches and lamp suppliers.
- Flexibly provide support to supplier residents
- Interpret and understand controller delivery requirements to ensure that supplied controllers meet requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent by combination of education and years of automotive experience
- Working knowledge of Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) and Light Emitting Diode (LED) automotive application circuitry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Great organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with LIN and u-ART software, Vector Canoe and/or Intrepid Vehicle Spy
