To succeed as a Full-Time Controls/Commissioning Engineer, you should bring a strong background in the automation industry, supported by 3-5 years of hands-on experience. This role requires proficiency in PLC and HMI programming, as you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and commissioning sophisticated control systems. Strong troubleshooting skills are essential, as you'll be expected to identify and resolve machine control system issues to keep projects on track and operating smoothly.

Responsibilities

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Familiarity with Siemens PLC.

* 2-3 years of controls engineering experience.

* Associates degree in a related field.

* Preferred knowledge in robotics and programming from scratch.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a new facility with a large and clean shop floor, fostering a collaborative environment. The design and programming team, which includes 10 other Controls Engineers and 3 supervisors, work closely together. This setting offers an opportunity for training and development while working alongside a supportive team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Walker, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
