Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and optimize tooling, fixtures, and molds for manufacturing processes.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of production tooling to ensure operational readiness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues, defects, and production stoppages.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for tooling performance, lifespan, and cost reduction.
- Specify, select, and procure appropriate tooling materials, components, and equipment.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to define tooling requirements and solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation for tooling designs, specifications, and maintenance records.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in tooling design, development, or maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, Mastercam) for tool design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, stamping, injection molding, or casting.
- Knowledge of GD&T, material properties, and DFM/DFA principles for tooling.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot tooling issues, implement corrective actions, and optimize tool performance.
- Experience with Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) for prototyping or tooling components.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with automation and robotics integration in manufacturing processes.
- Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., FEA, mold flow analysis) for tooling validation.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or demonstrated leadership of complex tooling projects.
