Salary Range: $62,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Develop, write, and optimize CMM inspection programs from engineering models and drawings.
- Interpret complex engineering blueprints, GD&T specifications, and quality requirements.
- Execute CMM programs to perform precise dimensional inspections of manufactured parts.
- Analyze CMM inspection data, generate detailed reports, and present findings to relevant teams.
- Troubleshoot and debug CMM programs, fixtures, and inspection processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform routine calibration checks and basic preventative maintenance on CMM equipment.
- Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams to resolve measurement issues and improve part quality.
- Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- Strong understanding and practical application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience in setup, operation, and troubleshooting of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
- Solid knowledge of metrology principles and measurement techniques.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Inventor) for model manipulation or fixture design.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency with other metrology equipment (e.g., vision systems, laser scanners, optical comparators).
- Scripting or automation experience for data analysis, reporting, or CMM program efficiency.
