Manufacturing Engineer | Hart, MI
Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Hart that are seeking skilled Manufacturing Engineers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement new production methods, equipment, and tooling.
- Conduct root cause analysis of manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all manufacturing operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, fabrication, and automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and experience with simulation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement.
- Experience with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Proficiency in Solid Works, AutoCAD, or other CAD software.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
- Strong data analysis skills and experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
