Manufacturing Engineer | Mattawan, MI
Salary Range: $70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are working with companies in Mattawan that are adding Manufacturing Engineers to their teams. These organizations value quality over speed in hiring. By connecting with us, you position yourself for opportunities that align with what you're looking for.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Implement and maintain production equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
- Develop and execute process validation protocols and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability of designs.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a high-volume production setting.
- Proven experience with process optimization, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and data.
