Job Summary:

We are looking Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) experience in Design / Selection / Engineering of Power system such as Heat & Mass balance, Cooling water system, Feed water, Condensate and other Utility system. Candidate should have worked for execution of Basic/Conceptual Engineering, FEED, EPCM, EPC modes of execution for Indian and International projects.

Candidate having design and detail engineering experience in Semiconductor facility, Battery manufacturing and data center will be added advantage.

Major Responsibilities:

* Review of deliverables of Process Package

* Design Criteria.

* Design calculations for flow and pressure-drop.

* Data sheets, Project specifications, Material and Service

Requisition s, Technical Bid Evaluations.

* System Descriptions.

* Generate PIDs.

* Any other Study / Report required during project execution activities

* Ensuring quality for the deliverables /work done

* Develop technical specifications for Equipment/Package. Review of specifications from Licensor / Client / PMC

* Participating in IDC process. Interaction with Engineering disciplines, Clients / PMC, Bidders / Vendors

* Review of Vendor prints and approval

* Resolving Vendor/Site queries. Interaction with Inspection Agencies, Expeditors, other agencies for delivery of Equipment/Packages

* Develop / assist in documentation for progress reporting

* Implement / Capture Lesson Learnt. Active pursue of Value Engineering, design and cost optimization program.

* Travel to help activities at other engineering offices, supplier's works, construction sites

Education and Experience Requirements:

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university and 3
-11 years of relevant work experience

* The Mechanical Engineer will work as part of Global Bechtel team and should have basic flair for working with personnel of different nationalities. Should have a good proficiency for spoken and written English language.

Required Knowledge and

Skills:

* Conceptual / basic, detail engineering, Heat and Mass balance diagram, water balance diagram.

* Knowledge for different Licenser specific design requirements and construction features.

* Ability to quickly provide data for carrying out preliminary detailing / estimation by Mechanical and other Engineering disciplines.

* Knowledge of industry / regulatory codes and standards.

* Trouble shooting, resolution of Client and site queries.

* Knowledge & assessment of Suppliers capabilities.

* Ability to coordinate work with other engineering disciplines and other stake holders including other offices.
