Entry Level NDT Assistant

Position Summary:

Acuren is currently recruiting Entry Level NDT Assistants for operations in Quinnesec, MI. This is a callout/travel position supporting nondestructive testing operations. The NDT Assistant will support Radiographers and inspection personnel by assisting with equipment setup, calibration, inspections, and documentation while ensuring compliance with written procedures and safety standards.

• Set up and utilize nondestructive testing equipment.
• Assist Radiographers with the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in conducting tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT inspection methods.
• Record inspection results accurately.
• Assist with performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment, and supporting inspection operations.
• Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college education preferred.
• Technical background desired.

• Must be able to obtain certification as Trustworthy & Reliable in compliance with federal and state regulations, based on a thorough background check.
• Motor vehicle driving record must meet company standards for operating company vehicles.
• Must pass drug/alcohol screening and background checks according to client requirements.
