Salary Range: $62,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

• Develop accurate cost estimates for manufacturing projects, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand project scope and technical requirements.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.
• Present detailed estimates and supporting documentation to management and stakeholders.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities within estimates and propose mitigation strategies.
• Maintain and update a database of historical cost data for future reference and analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in cost estimating within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and labor costs.
• Proficiency in using estimating software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
