Salary Range: $77,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IATF 16949 compliant quality management systems and processes.
• Conduct internal audits and manage external certification audits to ensure IATF 16949 adherence.
• Lead problem-solving activities using core tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, SPC) to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee APQP activities, including PPAP submissions and customer specific requirements, for new product launches and engineering changes.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process optimization.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements and resolve supplier quality issues.
• Provide training and mentorship on IATF 16949 standards and quality tools to manufacturing personnel.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in IATF 16949 implementation and auditing.
• Strong knowledge of core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CSSBB) are highly desirable.
