Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Spring Lake that are seeking Lean Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping).
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, and opportunities for efficiency gains.
  • Implement and sustain Lean tools and principles across production lines and support functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute improvement projects.
  • Train and mentor employees on Lean manufacturing concepts and problem-solving techniques.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of Lean initiatives.
  • Lead root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., VSM, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Kanban).
  • Proven ability to lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects with measurable results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with process mapping, time studies, and standard work development.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Experience with simulation software (e.g., Arena, Flex Sim)
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience in a high-volume, highly automated manufacturing environment
