The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for quality improvement.
- Perform product and process audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage and maintain quality documentation, including specifications, procedures, and records.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Bonus Qualifications
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality management systems.
- Basic understanding of programming languages for automation or data analysis (e.g., Python, R).
