Requisition :Description:EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 5–10 years’ experience in a managerial role.
Proven experience in project and tender management within the KSB market sectors, particularly in Water and Wastewater.
Strong knowledge of pump technologies, including centrifugal and submersible pumps.
Solid understanding of hydraulic systems, including flow, pressure, head, and efficiency.
Familiarity with applications across industries such as water treatment, mining, chemicals, and energy.
Ability to interpret and analyse performance curves, technical datasheets and engineering specifications.
Practical knowledge of installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of pump systems.
Proficiency in SAP and C4C.
Proficient in Microsoft 365.
Key Accountabilities- Develop and implement a market strategy for Water, Wastewater and Irrigation in line with objectives.
- Engage with key customers and stakeholders to drive business growth, understand needs and improve solutions.
- Lead and manage water and wastewater projects across Africa, including technical interfaces.
- Promote KSB’s equipment and solutions to end users, consultants, municipalities, and contractors.
- Lead the tender process and manage consortium agreements to secure major project contracts.
- Mentor and develop internal teams, providing training and setting clear performance objectives.
- Monitor competition and conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
