LED Lighting Test Engineer

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and technically skilled LED Lighting Test Engineer to join our product development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans for LED lighting products, validating performance against industry standards, and supporting product qualification and certification efforts. You will work closely with design, manufacturing, quality, and compliance teams to ensure products meet performance, reliability, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Develop, execute, and document test plans for LED luminaires, drivers, and lighting control systems.
• Perform photometric, electrical, thermal, environmental, and reliability testing of LED products.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including integrating spheres, goniophotometers, spectroradiometers, power analyzers, and environmental chambers.
• Analyze test data and prepare detailed technical reports.
• Investigate product failures and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Verify compliance with applicable industry and regulatory standards such as SAE, FMVSS, KKK, NFPA 1900, C‑5, CISPR 25, UL, CE, etc.
• Collaborate with design engineers to validate product performance throughout the development cycle.
• Support third‑party certification and regulatory testing activities.
• Develop automated test procedures and data acquisition systems when applicable.
• Ensure laboratory safety, calibration, and equipment maintenance requirements are met.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and testing efficiency.

• Familiarity with industry standards such as SAE, FMVSS, KKK, NFPA 1900, C‑5, CISPR 25, UL, CE.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Familiarity with statistical analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE) preferred.
• Experience using LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB, or similar test automation software preferred.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in product testing, validation, or quality engineering.
